Principal Anna Peterson

Principal's Message

Thanks to all of the school staff, parents and community that have welcomed me as the NEW interim principal for Little Flower Catholic School!  I have joined forces with the Little Flower School Advisory Board, Father Gregory Ross, OCD and the faculty and staff of Little Flower School.  I was born and raised in San Antonio and attended St. Mary’s, St. Luke’s and Providence Catholic High School.  I have 18 years of educational experience to include teaching, curriculum development and administrative roles in Public, Charter and Catholic School.

I am dedicated to transforming student’s lives through faith formation, field experiences, hands-on approaches, collaborative opportunities and high levels of academic achievement.  Little Flower Catholic School exhibits uniqueness in its strong traditions and culture that are rooted in the Catholic Faith and hold strong bonds with St. Therese, the Little Flower of Jesus.

I know that as parents, you want to give your child the BEST education possible.  The rigor in education, the caring faculty and staff, the strong school community, the athletic program and club/extracurricular activities (robotics, chess, technology etc.) are firmly established at Little Flower Catholic School!   I also know that there are many choices of school types such as public, other private or charter schools.  I have personal experience in all three types and I can say that students that attend Little Flower Catholic School are at a farther advantage in their spiritual formation than many other schools.  The reason?  The Basilica that is located directly across the street is one of the main factors.  The Carmelite priests, our school nuns and deacon that teach and interact with students during the school day, play an additional factor.  The daily student interactions with caring faculty and staff that have a deep faith for our Lord, is second to none!

If you want to give your child a LIFE-LONG GIFT that no one can take away, please consider enrolling at Little Flower Catholic School.  Now is the time to plant the seeds of faith formation!  We are affordable and it is worth the price!

Below are a list of dates and times that you are welcome at tour Little Flower Catholic School:

OPEN HOUSE – Sunday, January 31, 2016   -   10:00 am – 3:00 pm  (1:00 Community Mass)

EVERY TUESDAY or FRIDAY from  8:30-9:30 – (for the remainder of the year - walk ins always welcome)

May God bless you and your family.

Respectfully,
Nora Mozingo
Interim Principal

Let us pray:

Dear God, May St. Therese, The Little Flower, be an intercessor as we pray for the decision of parents to enroll at Little Flower Catholic School.  May you guide families in their decision and may your children ALWAYS feel the love that YOU have for them!  Amen.
